Meet our Garden Expert, Zoe!
Zoe started with The Giving Garden LTC Program in late summer 2020. She helps plan, prepare, and care for our LTC gardens and recently assembled a greenhouse for a LTC home with the help of our volunteer Jes! We’re grateful to have Zoe on our team and serving our residents ❤️

👵🌱 Why she loves working with plants and people:
I love the constant learning that comes from working with plants and people. Both are so much about paying attention, building relationship and learning to adapt
👩⚕️Professional Goals for 2021:
To grow lots of veggies and flowers and to find creative ways to share the growth and the harvest even during times where we can’t always be together in person.
🍓Favourite thing to eat:
Lately I’ve been dreaming of strawberry season! There’s nothing like a strawberry still warm from the sun.
📺Currently binging during quarantine:
I recently binged The Big Flower Fight on Netflix!
