With over 14 years experience in long-term care specializing in food service operations management and clinical nutrition services. She holds a BASc in Applied Science in Nutrition and Food from Toronto Metropolitan University and a Certificate in Food Service Management. Maria is a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt and the 2021 recipient of Marie Taylor Award of Excellence by Dietitians of Canada, recognizing commitment and outstanding contributions to LTC, Seniors Nutrition & Dietetic Practice. She has completed five-year terms with the Ontario Long Term Care Action Group (OSNAC; formerly Ontario Long Term Care Action Group) and the City of Hamilton’s Food Advisory Committee.

Stephanie began her professional journey after obtaining a BASc in Applied Human Nutrition from the University of Guelph and went on to serve as faculty for the Food Service and Nutrition Management program offered by HealthCareCAN. Now, with 14 years of experience working in long-term care, she supports and manages consulting dietitians, drives the performance of clinical nutrition services, and oversees the development and maintenance of best practices and clinical service strategies.

Kelsey Sobkowich, MAN, RD, NM

Director of Culinary Operations

With 5 years in food service operations management and clinical nutrition in LTC. She holds a Master of Applied Nutrition from the University of Guelph and is a member of the Canadian Society of Nutrition Management. Kelsey develops and maintains a high-quality performing food service operations environment for LTC homes through excellent interpersonal, team building skills, open communication, encouraging input and constructive performance management.
